Biz Besties

Can you believe the holidays are already around the corner?! You’re not alone! I was feeling the pressure as a consumer before it was even Halloween and 1000% as a small business owner too. (I am currently feeling all the pressure for the December rush, but we can save that for another time!) It can feel overwhelming to get started on finding a nice gift for your friends and family so I thought I would share some of my go-to biz besties!

Top to Bottom, Left to Right: Jonathan Yamakami, Michal Ross & Desmond Ho, Andy Putnam, Kiwi Cyr, Carter Higgins, Andrea Dingeldein, Zed Yasay, Keira McGee, Phil Lemley

I’ve curated a list of my incredibly talented, kind, and humble creative small business owner friends so that you can gift thoughtfully this season… and every season! You can refer to this list at any time of the year if you’re stuck and need some inspiration, something fun for yourself, or just want to see some really cool art!

I personally know each of these wonderful humans through a variety of ways. Some of us go way back to my classroom teaching days to working and living together on Catalina Island and to my more recent pottery ventures! What truly connects this group I’ve shared is our love and passion for what we do and the quality at which we do it. Whether you choose a handmade piece of pottery, beautiful photograph, picture book, or clothing item, each product was designed thoughtfully and with a lot of love. You will receive or gift items that are sure to last for years and become some of your most valued treasures.

If you want to support or spread the love but can’t afford to purchase from us right now, no sweat! Here are some ways that you can support each of us fo’ free!

  • Share this link with a friend, or two!

  • Follow us on social media.

  • Share our pages in your stories or on other social media platforms.

  • Just say hi!

  • Join our newsletters.

  • Leave us a review! (If you’ve bought from us in the past.)

I hope that this list gives you some gift giving inspiration or just brings a little joy to your day! Cheers to spreading some good vibes and supporting your local creative community!
